Finally splashed out on a pair of proper cycling shoes after failing to find an equipment sponsor. What a difference these make, especially up hills. Average speed over and hour up by 1 - 2 mph!

Finally got out for another ride, 61 miles this time and boy did it hurt at the end, need to take more food!
