About The Bike

Here is my bike, a Specialized Allez Sport 2009 that I purchased from Hargroves in Southampton through the Cycle to Work scheme. For anyone who has not purchased a bike in this way I can highly recommend it (if your employer supports the scheme) as the bike can be purchased at about half of its full retail value.

Over the last six months of training I seem to have spent a small fortune on all sorts of kit including lashings of Lycra!

Live position tracking is via Instamapper.

In order to have sufficient battery capcity to last a whole days cycling I am currently using a Power Monkey linked to the iPhone which seems to work well.
