About The Event

Pedal to Paris is the main Royal British Legion's fundraising bike ride and combines the physical challenge of 4 day's cycling leaving from Greenwich for a four day 280 mile ride to the heart of Paris finishing at the Arc de Triomphe.

Founded in 1921 The Royal British Legion is a UK charity that has been helping Service people past and present for 90 years and are committed to the welfare, interests and memory of the Service family - those who have made a unique commitment to their country and deserve to be rewarded for that with long term care.

The Royal British Legion is probably best-known for its role as the nation's custodian of Remembrance and for the Poppy Appeal, their annual fundraising campaign. But the Legion is not just about poppies in November, but caring for people all year round.

So whether you believe in the political or other reasons as to why our armed forces may be partaking in conflict they, and their families need the support that The Royal British Legion provides.

Now in its 16th year the video below features the 2010 event.
