Day of Reckoning (-1)

Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues

On the eve of my bike ride to Paris I would like to send a big thank you to all of you who have provided support, either through donations to the charity, or words of support, or encouragement via laughing at my impending pain and suffering.

I have been humbled by peoples generosity, so far you have helped raise £1340 with a further £150 pledged effectively achieving the target of £1500 - every penny of which will go to the Royal British Legion. If anyone wants to make a late donation the JustGiving page will be open for some time to come.

During the ride I will not bombard you with emails, but if you are interested to know how I am doing you can check this blog which has a live link to my actual position (technology permitting), or you can access that data via the link below.

I hope to be able to post a few reports and photos up at the end of each day.

À bientôt !

Over a Thousand

Fundraising has just gone over £1000, I am overwhelmed with peoples generosity.

Thank you to all who have donated, given words of encouragement and support.

I still have a further list of friends, friends of friends, colleagues and acquaintances to badger so hopefully I will get closer to the £1500 target.

Across the Meon Valley

Cracked off 25 miles with the guys from work, always good to go with them as they are far far fitter than me and my average speed is usually higher than when I go on my own. This might be my last training ride before the event, I'm feeling really fit.
